This prayer time consists of one hour adoration and starts at 7.30p.m. (GMT). Singing Taize’ hymns and mantras and praying in various languages. We are joined in prayer at the same time to Taize’ in France, reflecting on the same scripture text and praying particularly for peace in the world, and for those who have been to the Chapel.
We invite you to join in by sending your request for a particular prayer to be said.
Please email your name and special request using this form and we will include it in the Taize Adoration of Friday the 2nd. October
"I encourage Christians regularly to visit Christ present in the Blessed Sacrament, for we are all called to abide in the presence of God. In contemplation, Christians will perceive ever more profoundly the mystery at the heart of Christian life"
The Chapel itselft is within the Millennium Chapel Centre.
Entering the main door of the MC centre, go straight ahead past the reception and the bookshop.
Turn sharp left and you will see a large threshhold in front of a big glass door.
The room is air-conditioned and is a place of quiet prayer and meditation.
The Blessed Sacrament is exposed at all times when the chapel is open.
Persons using the chapel are kindly requested to observe the silence within.
Members of all faiths, including those who do not profess a set creed, are welcome to experience the unique experience of quiet refreshment for the Spirit that this small chapel offers.
