About the Memory Tree of Light

As part of the anniversary celebrations of the Millennium Chapel once again this year the Millennium Chapel will have a special ceremony which will be held on the 7th December. 

This year again by the door of the Millennium Chapel a Memory Tree of Light will be lit to commemorate the death of several individuals who have died under unusual circumstances.

Surrounded by family and friends of these persons the Memory Tree of Light symbolizes the bonding between us the living and those who have departed to future life.

The tree also symbolizes the continued existence of these individuals who have purely transcended from this material life to everlasting life in the presence of God.

The ceremony by the door will then be followed by the singing of Ave Marias and hymns in the Millennium Chapel.  A special prayer will be recited by all present.
