Anguélos Chevreul

The school choir Anguélos Chevreul will be singing at the Mother of Good Council Church on Friday, July 16th: Concert at 20:00 at the Millennium Chapel, organized by the Rotary Clubs.
Sunday, July 18th: 11:30 animation of the International Mass at Mother of Good Council Church.

The school choir Anguélos Chevreul, under the direction of Patrick Benoit, was founded in November 1987.  They are 70, girls and boys, recruited from the 6th to the Terminal within the school Blancarde Chevreul (Marseille).  To these young people often come to join all the old and do not hesitate to spend moments of free time to rehearse and conduct the liturgical life of our EQ. They know how to respond to calls for more frequent parishes and associations.  Happy to live they give a little happiness to those they help, who come to pray or listen live.  The choir is affiliated with the A Coeur Joie.  It is twinned with children's choirs in Siofok (Hungary), Konakovo (Russia), with the Boys Choir of Laval (Quebec), St. Michael Choir Boys (Germany), and the college choir of Lestonnac (Vigo, Spain).  Since its inception, the choir has been asked to host many celebrations at the Cathedral of Marseilles in the presence of our Bishop.  The chorus of Anguélos also involved in maintaining traditions Marseille animating the mass of Aldermen, or by being present at multicultural events such as Marseille Hope in 1997 or the year of Armenia in 2007.  They have adapted and sang the Pastoral Maurel in January 1999 and 2000, a musical "In the Canebiere to shed"on the Songs of Vincent Scolto composer Marseille.  In 2009, the choir won first prize category troixième child and adult category in the 7th competition of choirs of Draguignan, where she had already priced youth and the encouragement award in 2008. 
Our tour this summer 2010 will be held in Malta.
