The Coach is a Priest
The Coaches Association was born when I started my pastoral work as a priest . I always looked at the Coach as a priest or educator who has the welfare of a group of people left in his care. The Coach like the priest, has a special call to serve those who are entrusted in his care . He is there to help them find themselves, educate them to life and develop their God given talents.
The WOW Experience
Right in the heart of Paceville, the Millennium Chapel is to be found - a venue well-known by many in Malta. It is a place that is frequently sought for its appealingly tranquil and calming atmosphere as well as the many services offered by those who volunteer to work there. However, few are aware of the variety of activities that are held especially one in particular “ The Wow Xperience” addressed to young people.
WOW Opening Events
28th August 2004, feast of St Augustine, was a very special day of celebration for the Augustinian community in Paceville. Under the patronage of the Archbishop, Mgr Joseph Mercieca, and of President Emeritus Guido de Marco, WOW (Wishing Others Well) and the social arm of the Millennium Chapel was officially inaugurated in the presence of several hundred parishioners, well-wishers and other guests.
About WOW - Wishing Others Well
WOW is the social arm of the Millennium Chapel.
The new WOW centre was opened on the 28th August 2004, by Archbishop Mercieca together with the Provincial and priests of the Augustinian Order in Malta.
